How to plan an Acceptable Usage Policy for Internet safety at school with the objective of improving students’ ICT skills and teaching them the principles of collaboration and communication?

This year we have worked a lot on Internet safety and Netiquette rules. Now it is time to create a common plan so as to share this knowledge with the whole school community. Students have already contributed to the creation of a Common Plan for acceptable use of the Media and the Internet at schools with our partner schools, with the goal of raising awareness about the importance of Media Literacy. The making of our AUP was part of the activities we shared and best illustrates the students’ beautiful journey towards the making of a bigger plan! (The plan which will be the final product of our collaboration with our European partners!)

Our AUP is made with the assistance of our school’s ICT coordinators Mrs Pipini Giola, Mrs Kanari Aggela, Mr Christodoulakis Prodromos and Mr Damasiotis George – mathematician/school website coordinator of 2nd Junior High School Ehedorou.
